A Journey of Friendship, Love, and Healing
In life, relationships weave the threads that shape our experiences and define our journeys. Among these relationships, perhaps none is as profound and enduring as our connection with God. That is if you believe in one. If you don’t I invite you to consider Jesus. You see, Just as we engage with a friend or companion, our relationship with God is constant, ever-present, and deeply enriching. It's like falling in love for the first time, where every moment spent with Him is filled with wonder, discovery, and joy. And much like the bonds we share with lifelong friends and loved ones, our connection with God grows stronger with time, deepening through shared experiences, conversations, and moments of intimacy. (If you want to know more about Jesus and experience this relationship, please reach out to us. We will be happy to pray with you help you launch your journey).
As light bearer’s, Prayer becomes our lifeline. It is our way of engaging with God without ceasing, just as we would with a dear friend. It's through this continuous dialogue that we find solace, guidance, and a sense of belonging. Just as in any relationship, challenges may arise, and grief can cast a shadow over our connection with God. Remember grief could be any loss, any disappointment, anything that you did not think went how you expected it to go that was not surrendered to the sovereignty of God.
It is during these times that our faith is tested, and our relationship can either be challenged or strengthened. Trusting in God's love and leaning on His grace can transform grief into a catalyst for growth, deepening our understanding of His unfailing love and unwavering presence.
Experiencing Loss
Recently, I experienced the loss of her brother. Since then in the family we have lost 1 loved each month, for the last 6 months. At some point, we have to not be angry with God and realize everyone has a choice and a plan for their life that is outside of our control. God left us the authority to declare healing, cast out demons, and even raise the dead. He even said we would do greater things than he did. Yet the sovereignty of God holds the final say. Each of us also has a choice. In my personal example, I prayed for my Brother to recover from his illness. I believe God is a miraculous healer. I even began to see improvement in my brother. Yet, my brother had a choice as well. If I am 1000% honest with myself, he had already began to see the other side based on his quality of life. I think he was ready to be present with Yahweh.
Thus, Amidst grief, I found solace and healing through my relationship with Christ. I was able to recognize how he was already preparing me for the moment my brother choose to come to him so I would be ok. Years prior I had a word that he would leave the earth before me. He started preparing me emotionally for the moment 10 years prior. Everything he and I experienced in life was a part of the journey and testimony I have to tell related to Beloved Plus.
This is just one piece of the journey that inspired Beloved Plus to honor his memory and life goals by incorporating his art into our gear. We are offering 45 custom leather sneakers, each a unique piece that will never be sold again after they are sold out. He would have been 45 this year. This commemoration celebrates his life but also signifies the launch of our brand and our business goal of reaching people and encouraging them to walk in the light of Jesus Christ (BA+). The two options symbolize the relationship between he and I or the intricate relationship between a sister and brother. Though people may say Tyre was the life of the party, he was really the light. His positivity was contagious. He was called to be a Pastor at a young age. Thing is, he didn’t have a church to preach in on Sunday. Yet his light still shined whenever he was around.
Tyre was a light to the world, he had hopes of being a self-help and children’s book author, graphic artist, shoe designer, & clothing designer. Due to health challenges he struggled with accomplishing these goals. So as his sister, and with his blessing, we are bringing his art to the world. The grief of his illness catipulted me into action early before his loss. I once struggled with addiction and remember a time when I slept on his couch after leaving a shelter. My story is a testament to the healing power of Christ's love. I overcame addiction and grief was always a trigger. BUT GOD! It's been about 8 months since re-launching Beloved Plus, we have established a decent online presence. When we re-launched we participated in a Fab & 40 Contest and made it to the Top 10. We currently are striving to win a "Super Mom" competition.
